Complete Woman (nudity)

Well, here we are…
Heres the hiddent part of my previous woman head thread

The entire body of the girl.
It took me a lot of time to try to make a clean model. The head has twice more polys than the body, I plan to make a high res realtime character.
I put some base shapes, and its the beginning of the modeling.
ANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOME!!!

Excellent clean modelling. Only thing that looks a bit off to me at the moment is the forearms. Look a bit ‘popeye’, but who knows, maybe she drives a forklift. They look a little bit too developed compared to the rest of the body, particularly compared to the upper arms.

Other than that…:+1:

Excellent modelling, Sebcesoir. My only crits are the forarm thickness that
3DP mentioned and that maybe her shins could be a wee bit longer. I’m no expert on anatomy though, so take that with a grain of salt.

Either way it’s a hell of a model. I only hope to be that good someday where it comes to modelling the human form…:smiley:

What a labour of love … such wonderful detail. Thought the head looked a tad small, but I measured it and it’s spot on. The light set-up makes the front of her shin/ankle/foot area look a bit sharp, but given the smoothness of the rest of the model, I’m sure it’s not an actual issue. Beautiful. :+1:

This is one really beautifful lady. I also tried to model a beautiful female head and ti’s very tough to do so :slight_smile: You have done a marvelous job here. How long did it take you to complete this model?

Thanks for the suggestions, I will work on it.

About the time it tooke, I cant say, because its a part time work, and I ve top sometimes for a while. But Its rather long.

U did a very low poly cage, the smoothed in sbrush, add some basics shapes, then exported the 2nd subd mesh back in max. Then Ive modelised, the dahns, the feets, the face, exported it in zbrush, improved the sahes, then export back to max.
I’ve merged all thoses elements together, then started to do the uvs. Ive made everything in one map (face included).
Now everything is clean, I can start the detailing modeling.
Once I will have a very good model (nice details, good proportions)
I will work every parts separatly (head, arms, legs) to add the maximum of details.

First realtime test.
i have a problem with my direct x shader (its not max one)
Does anyone of you have a directx 9 normalmap shader+ specular, working with 3 light, that doesnt diplay seems in the realtime viewport?

you’re doing a great job on her :slight_smile:
i would suggest making her torso more soft
to make it look more natural…

Ive made many modifications. A lot of subtile sculpt work (torso area), started to sculpt basicly the hands, the head, made it a bit bigger, and lowered a bit the neck.
Any suggestion welcome!!!

Amazing! How many verts or polys in this model? She is so beautifully sculpted. :+1:

I really like the improvements you made to the mid-section. It is starting to get a nice natural look to it. Two things I would check are the shape of the scapulas and the angle of the lower leg to upper leg. It might be just me, but she looks a tad bow-legged. When her legs are drawn inward (feet touching) do the knees touch? On most people this is the case. Keep up the excellent work.

do not mess with the misection/abdomen as it looks so nicely defined now.

seems the shoulders are to small for the rest of the body.
i love the hip belly area.
she looks like shes squinting, in the eyes.
front shin area could use some definition.
and her butt looks big in the rear shot.
needs definition in the feet and toes too.

other than that its perfect. :slight_smile:

It seems that she doesn’t have much flank pad, compare to the rest of body fat.

Moochie, the base mesh is 1832 polys (its should make 3664 tri? It sems very few to me, something is strange, I have to ckeck in max…) and the highest mesh :463 232
I will subdivide each part separatly for finest details sculpting.
I will soon begin the texturing work…

Flank pad is also called oblique fat in both sides of stomach.
