Provenance: native to China and Vietnam Source: Gesneriad Society Seed Bank, 5/30/2010 Current status in my collection: vigorous, thriving in my collection Field notes, personal remarks, etc.: [07-25-2011] These were part of the mixed collection of seeds in the new member welcome packet. [12-17-2014] The flowers often form seed pods by themselves, so if you notice your plants are declining because of neglect or old age it's easy to restart them from seed. They'll usually be bloom sized within about 6 to 9 months. [07-13-2015] I was thrilled to find a new seedling in my collection blooming with pure white flowers!
