Without a doubt, Hotel des 3 Vallees in Courchevel would have to be one of Scout's favorite ski hotels, for many reasons but primarily because of the stylish renovation but also because it happens to be the oldest hotel establishment in Courchevel. Completely renovated in 2013, this hotel looks like a funky, ski chalet in the 1950s or 60s – you kind of half expect Sean Connery as Bond to be relaxing in the lounge area with a martini and ski bunny by his side. If Scout were to have its own ski chalet in the Alps (we wish!), this would be how we would decorate it (so beware of our own bias towards this style). It is cool, stylish, fun, relaxed, and hip. There is mid-century, modern furniture everywhere, faux furs on the beds, lots of bare wood and stone. All in all the contemporary style is super cool, yet all the while being extremely comfortable.
There are 31 rooms at Hotel des 3 Vallées, which range from Comfort rooms at a generous 22 -28 m2 for two guests to full chalet sized suites for two to four guests. Every room has a balcony with views of the slopes or the valley. The rooms are generously sized, innovatively decorated and comfortable. Scout loves how the modernist design gives in to welcoming and warm accommodations without being overdone. In keeping with the 60’s theme, retro prints adorn the walls.
There's a very cool common lounge area, adjacent to the dining room. The dining room itself is open and friendly and overlooks the rooftops and out to the snow. The food here is simply delicious. Breakfast is included in the rate. Breakfast is served 7:30 to 10:30am, so you can be as relaxed as you like. Lunch and dinner is also available at the restaurant - on beautiful days, don't miss lunch on the terrace. Other facilities at Hotel des 3 Vallées include a very nice, small spa, including a Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna, and massage area. There’s a small ski-room and ski rental with helpful staff.
Who should stay here
Hotel Des 3 Vallées is best suited for couples, but families can also enjoy a comfortable ski vacation here. This hotel is for younger couples or families looking for a contemporary, funky feel, who still want a cozy chalet in the mountains. This is not for people who prefer a more traditional, refined hotel.

Located about a two minute walk from Courchevel La Croisette, this slope side, ski-in ski-out hotel, is conveniently situated for skiers and just a short walk from all the action in the village.
