Animals Observed in the Logan Valley Area:

Pronghorn Antelope - One herd of 14 (including young) visible in the valley south of FS Rd 16.

Red Squirrels - Nesting robins observed chasing a red squirrel out of the trees next to their nest.

Turkey Vultures - Two are using a snag next to the junction of FS Rd 16 and Lake Creek Camp Road as a night-time roost.

Great Horned Owl - Heard at night time.

Sandhill Cranes - A pair observed next to FS Rd 16, many others heard throughout the valley.

Long-billed Curlews - Heard at various locations across the valley.
