Botanical Description

Stems 10-2 0cm tall. Leaves sessile, lanceolate, 7-15cm long, patterned heavily and conspicuously with several shades of green and brown plus a central green stripe, deflexed and sometimes touching the ground. Flowers stemless, purple to purplish-brown, carrion scented, the petals 5-9cm long. A greenish yellow form is known. Northern Florida, western Georgia and Alabama.
