Botanical Description

Lychnis lagascae). Stems up to 15cm long, diffusely branched and lacking basal rosettes. Leaves narrowly ovate to lanceolate, l-2cm long, thickish-textured and glaucous. Flowers 3cm or more across, usually rose-carmine, sometimes almost white, early summer to autumn, the late flowers often much smaller. Northern Spain, amongst mountain rocks.
