Botanical Description

Bulbous and rhizomatous, forming clumps or colonies up to 10cm high. Leaflets rounded to triangular, 6-10mm in length. Flowers solitary, 2-3cm long, usually pink but also purple or white, summer. South Africa, in the sandy ground of dunes and vleis. Reasonably hardy.
