Botanical Description

Tufted to small mat-forming perennial, to 10cm high by 20cm or more across. Leaves obovate, 6-10mm or more long, hairy. Flowers about 1cm across, white, with purple lines radiating from the centre, in small clusters, late spring to summer. Bhutan to Pakistan, on rocky slopes and banks at 1200-4700m. Good in a humus-rich soil.
