Botanical Description

Flowering stems 25-40cm high. Leaves ovate to oblong-lanceolate, often shallowly cordate at the base, prominently toothed and long-stalked. Flowers to 2.5cm long, white, the tube yellow with a purple ring and the stamen cone deep reddish-purple, in umbels of up to seven, late spring to late summer. British Columbia to Oregon, Idaho and Utah, in moist woodland, often near water.
