Place de la Bourse (Dutch: Beursplein) is a place in Brussels, at the junction of of the Senne and the main avenues. The bourse, stock exchange, of Brussels is exactly at this location.
Since the new millennium, this square is one of the strategic points of the capital. In 1957, for example, no fewer than 32 tramway lines running around the Bourse. Even today, almost all major events take place at this place.

The European Parliament:

(Leopoldruimte in Dutch) is the complex of parliament buildings in Brussels housing the European Parliament, a legislative chamber of the European Union. It consists of a number of buildings, primarily the oldest, the Paul-Henri Spaak building, which houses the debating chamber and the President's offices, and the Altiero Spinelli building which is the largest. The buildings are located in the European quarter in the east of Brussels, with building starting in 1989.

The complex is not the official seat of Parliament, which is the Immeuble Louise Weiss in Strasbourg, France, but as most of the other institutions of the European Union are in Brussels, Parliament built the Brussels complex to be closer to their activities. A majority of the Parliament's work is now geared to its Brussels site, but it is legally bound to keep Strasbourg as its official home.

L'Atomium:

The Atomium is a building in Brussels originally constructed for the universal exhibition 1958, the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. Designed by the engineer André Waterkeyn and architects André and Jean Polak, it stands 102 m (335 ft.) tall. Its nine 18 m (59 ft.) diameter stainless steel clad spheres are connected so that the whole forms the shape of a unit cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times.

Tubes connect the spheres along the 12 edges of the cube and all eight vertices to the center. They enclose escalators and a lift to allow access to the five habitable spheres which contain exhibit halls and other public spaces. The top sphere provides a panoramic view of Brussels.

Manneken-Pis:

"Little man Pee" is a landmark small bronze sculpture in Brussels, depicting a naked little boy urinating into a fountain's basin. It was designed by Hiëronymus Duquesnoy the Elder and put in place in 1618 or 1619. The famous statue is located at the junction of Rue de l'Étuve/Stoofstraat and Rue du Chêne/Eikstraat. It represents the independent spirit of the Brussels people.

THE SABLON ANTIQUE MARKET :

THE Sablon Antique Market and Livre Du Sablon in Brussels are due to an initiative of Georges Van de Weghe in October 1959. It is located along the north facade of Notre-Dame Du Sablon in Grand Sablon. On Sunday, April 3, 1960, fourteen pioneers built for the first time the canvas village made up of the famous red-and-green-striped tents, the colors that symbolized the city. A Weekly rhythm which would include Saturdays was soon adopted. Success was obvious when a hundred of regular exhibitors displayed in 1970.

Hergé Museum:

Musée Hergé or the Hergé Museum is a museum in Belgium dedicated to the life and work of Georges Remi, better known as Hergé, cartoonist and creator of The Adventures of Tintin. The museum is located in the town of Louvain-la-Neuve, south of Brussels. It was designed by the French architect Christian de Portzamparc and opened in June 2009. It consists of three floors with a total of nine exhibition rooms, a cafe/bar and a mini cinema.
